Stacks of schedules that are handed out to students and their families

I took the time to contact Kayleigh Boston who is in charge of admissions events, and asked if i could take photos of the upcoming "Encompass" events. I was able to sit down with her before the event and go over the schedule of events, which allowed me to plan out how i was going to approach capturing the morning. I wanted to take pictures of more people, but I received negative responses about me photographing faces. I had to change my direction a bit and focus more on the main speakers at the event. I focused on being a fly on the wall and trying to use the far reach of my lens to get close ups of the speakers with out being too close. Also, I tried to keep in mind a lot of the principles of design i have learned over my time in photo classes while taking pictures which i hope is evident in some of my pictures. overall, this was a fun project to shoot and i really had fun doing it.
